Welcome to the Joyful Voices Chorus website. By using this site, registering as a singer or care partner, signing up to volunteer, or making a donation, you agree to the following terms.

About Joyful Voices Chorus

Joyful Voices Chorus is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit community chorus for people living with Alzheimer's or other dementias and their care partners, based at Salisbury Presbyterian Church in Midlothian, Virginia.

Program Participation

Registration: Singer registration is $50 per singer; care partners and volunteers are free. Every registered singer must be accompanied by a registered care partner at rehearsals.

Not a medical or clinical service: Joyful Voices Chorus is a community music program, not a medical, clinical, or therapeutic service. Participation is not a substitute for medical care, and we do not provide diagnosis, treatment, or clinical supervision. Care partners are responsible for the health and safety needs of the singer they accompany.

Donations

Online donations to Joyful Voices Chorus are processed through Zeffy, a third-party fundraising platform. By making a donation, you also agree to Zeffy's Terms of Use (https://support.zeffy.com/terms-of-use-for-users).

Volunteering

Volunteers assist with rehearsals, performances, setup, refreshments, and other program needs on a good-faith, unpaid basis. Volunteering does not create an employment relationship with Joyful Voices Chorus.

Photos, Video & Testimonials

Joyful Voices Chorus rehearsals and performances may be photographed or recorded and used on this website, in newsletters, and on social media. Testimonials shared with us may be used, in whole or in part, on our website and in promotional materials. See our Privacy Policy for more on how we handle photo and video consent.

Use of This Website

You agree to use this website only for lawful purposes. You may not use the site to submit false information, interfere with the site's operation, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the site or its systems.
